Term/PAYG vs. Subscription fees

Using Classbees there are two ways to calculate the fees for students

Term / Pay as you go model

Subscription model

Term and Pay as you go model

In this model, the fees are set up at the class level to be collected either for the whole term or to be collected for individual or block classes. Details on how to set up the term and Pas as you go fees is available under the Class- Fees section

Subscription model

A subscription model is where students pay a recurring fee at periodic intervals (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly) for attending classes or activities within the class.

The subscription fees can be created at the academy level and can be directly linked to the student without any link to the class that the student is enrolled in. Details on how this type of fees works can be seen in the academy-subscription fees section

Another way to set up the subscription fees is at the class level and then assign subscriptions as the payment type during student enrolment. In this case, the subscription fee is linked to the student only for the term of the class and is linked to the class. Details on how to set this type of fee are detailed in the class fees- Subscription fees
